it's been a rough week for all of us, so let's vent about it! share your pet peeves, your puzzlements over bad behavior, and your wonderful wonderings.
it's a free-for-everyone friday!
College sisters scattered to the four winds after graduation, finding a way to keep the sister fires burning. You can take the girls out of the sorority house, but you can't take the sorority house out of the girls!

okay, i'll start...
i hate when people don't pronounce the 'l' sound at the end of words. i was in a presentation yesterday and the guy kept saying 'enrow' instead of 'enroll.' i cringed every time i heard it.
Along the same lines as Super Jane's peeve, I hate it when people pronouce the SILENT "G" at the end of words to make it a hard G sound.
ex: swimming, playing, etc.
It drives me nuts.
oh, and another one...
Can't stand it when people practically stop to make a right turn when it's a green light.
I just don't get it.
I greatly dislike it when people say Wal-Marts or Meijers or Krogers.
I greatly dislike bosses who throw you under the bus constantly because of their own shortcomings.
Double standards peeve me.
What a day. I could go on and on.
I hate when the Weather Channel proclaims unwaveringly that it is cloudy in raining in a place where it is clearly not cloudy and raining. And they continue to proclaim that it will be cloudy and raining all night, and it never rains a drop. They need to station some people in some places and just call them up and say - hey, dude, is it raining there right now? Cuz we don't wanna look like idiots over here.
When I see other women at the gym not wearing shower shoes in the dressing room, I get totally skeeved out.
